How to Update or Edit a RateMyAgent Review

After a review is posted, the client will receive a confirmation email from RateMyAgent. This email includes a link that allows the client to edit their review if any changes are required.

Additionally, it is important to distinguish between editing and resetting reviews. Editing allows you to modify an already submitted review, while resetting refers to starting over with a new review, which is not supported once a review has been submitted.

✏️ Editing The Review via Email

  1. Open the confirmation email you received after posting your review

  2. Click on the Edit Review link included in the email.

  3. Make your desired updates and save your changes.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure you are using a modern browser like Google Chrome for the best experience.

  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies if you encounter any issues while editing your review.

⏰ Important Notes

You can only edit your review if:

  • It was submitted within the past 60 days, and

  • The agent has not yet replied to your review.

  • Once an agent has responded or 60 days have passed, the edit option will no longer be available through the link.

Resetting Incomplete Reviews

Once a review has been submitted, it cannot be reset for editing. However, you may attempt to resubmit the review by clicking the original review link again. Ensure you are using a compatible browser and have cleared your cache and cookies for the best experience.

Include in your message:

  • The name of the agent or agency you reviewed

  • The updated version of your review (with any changes clearly indicated)

Our team will review your request and update your review on your behalf.

Please note that RateMyAgent is a distinct platform from Rate-My-Agent (with dashes). If you are trying to edit or reset a review on Rate-My-Agent, you will need to contact their support team directly at info@rate-my-agent.com. RateMyAgent cannot assist with reviews on other platforms.
