Adding your reviews or listings to your WordPress website

How to add your reviews and listings to your WordPress website

Updated this week

Prior to beginning, you first need to download and install the WordPress plugin. If you've not completed this, instructions can be found in this article. Additionally, ensure that you have a RateMyAgent account set up and have logged into your dashboard with the necessary credentials to manage and customise widgets.

Step 1

From inside your WordPress dashboard, select Pages from your left-hand side menu

Step 2

Here you will see a list of your website pages. Select Edit next to the page you'd like to add your widget to.

Step 3

You will now want to add a new Block to your web page. To do that, hover your cursor over the area on the page you'd like to place the widget and select the + symbol.

Step 4

In the search box that appears after selecting Add Block, search for the word "Carousel". This will bring up both widget options: Review Carousel & Listing Carousel. In this example, we are going to add the Review Carousel by selecting it. Ensure that you have pre-configured your desired widget settings, such as layout and background, within the RateMyAgent dashboard beforehand.

Step 5

Now that the widget has loaded, you can customise further on the right-hand side menu. Adjust the type setting to see the different style widgets you can use. The screenshot below is using the "Full" type. For more advanced customisation, log in to your RateMyAgent dashboard and use the 'Widget Management' section to modify settings like widget type, background, or layout before returning to WordPress.

Can't see the right-hand side block menu? Select the three dots from the menu

Step 6

You can also add a heading to your review widget. Copy & paste the following to try it out yourself:
