Managing your reviews on RateMyAgent allows you to sync client feedback across platforms, ensuring consistency in your professional reputation. This integration also streamlines the feedback management process to save you time while maintaining your online presence.

A paid subscription is required to connect your Google My Business to your RateMyAgent profile. During a free trial, users could previously import existing reviews, but ongoing syncing is only available with a paid subscription.

Connecting your Google Business Page

Step 1: Log into your profile, navigate to the "Reviews" section, select "Import," and click on "Connect & Import" under Google.

Step 2: You will see a screen that will have some instructions on how Google will connect to your RateMyAgent profile. If you have your Google account already set up, then you can click on the 'Connect' button. If you haven't got a Google Business Profile, then you can click on the 'Create a Google Business Profile' button to get that set up first before connecting it to your profile. For more assistance with creating a Google Business Profile, click here Note: Ensure you have administrative access to the Google Business Profile for the connection to succeed. Admin Access Requirement: Make sure you are logged in with the Google account that has administrative rights to your Google Business Profile. If you’re unsure which Google account to use, log out from all accounts in your browser and log in with the correct admin account before proceeding.

Step 3: Select if the account is correct or click 'Use another account to enter your Google My Business account details Ensure that your login credentials correspond to the Google account associated with your business to avoid connection issues.

Troubleshooting Tip: If you encounter issues, try logging out of all Google accounts and logging back in with the correct account that has administrative rights for smoother connection.

Step 4: RateMyAgent will request access to manage your Google Business Profile
account. Click Continue to the next page.

Step 5: Select the Google Business Profile location you want to manage. If Google has managed to verify your review, then it will connect successfully.If the correct location does not appear, verify your business profile on Google and ensure the address information matches exactly with your RateMyAgent profile. Additional Tip: Pay close attention to formatting consistency in the address (e.g., "St" vs. "Street," punctuation, or spacing) between your RateMyAgent profile and Google Business Profile to prevent verification issues.

If the location isn't verified, it will bring up a pop box that will notify you that the address will need further verification from Google. Click on the Verify my location on Google link on the steps to verify your location.Check for any discrepancies in address formatting, such as extra spaces or punctuation, and correct them in your Google Business Profile. Allow a few days for changes to sync. Advanced Troubleshooting: If basic verification steps fail, disconnect your Google Business Profile from RateMyAgent in the settings, and reconnect it to refresh permissions. Ensure Google account permissions are active and updates are synced.
