How to set up the Social Media Manager

Setting up your social media manager to post to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google for your team or office profile

What is the Social Media Manager?

It is a powerful tool that will automatically post your New Listings, Sales, and Reviews to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google from all the members of your team or office. You're completely in control when it comes to when your posts go out and to where.

**Please note: All of the social media platforms we post to will have strict requirements for the type of page you can use to post to:

Facebook - Business page - Don't have one? Click here for a guide on how to create one.

Google - Business page

Twitter - Personal page

LinkedIn - Personal page

How do you set it up?

It is quick and simple to set up for your team or office (the same as setting it up on an agent profile) and requires little-to-no effort to maintain. (please scroll to the bottom of the page for a video tutorial).

Step 1: Make sure you are logged into your agent, team or office profile (please click here if you are not sure how to access your office profile) and click the Marketing tab from the dashboard, then click Social Media and then Settings

Step 2: Scroll down to the Accounts section and then click the Connect button of the social media account you wish to link up to RateMyAgent.

In order to connect each Social Media to RateMyAgent you will need the login and accept the terms or permissions.

Step 4: Select the checkbox of the page you wish to connect and then click Next.

Step 5: Ensure all switches are on Yes and then click Done

Step 6: Edit or add a schedule for your reviews, listings and sales by selecting Edit or +Add Schedule. You can come back and change this at any time.

Your Social Media Manager posts reviews from the last 365 days. Whilst listings, sales, or leased properties will be up to 14 days and only for the lead agent.

Only one post will be pushed to your social media at the scheduled time. Read here, Reviews that will not be posted.

Step 8: You will be launched into a pop-up when selecting Edit or +Add Schedule. Once you're happy with your schedule, click Save Schedule.

Step 9: Review your posts via our Activity dashboard.
