What counts as fair wear and tear?
We expect your device to show signs of everyday use. You won't be charged for:
Some scuffs or fading
Up to 2 deep screen scratches (under 3cm) on the screen
Small dents or paint changes
What happens if damage goes beyond fair use?
If your device is returned with damage that goes beyond fair wear and tear, we may need to charge for repairs. This includes things like:
Cracked screens or casing
Liquid damage
Locked devices (e.g. Find My still switched on)
Missing accessories
We only ever charge the cost to repair the device and prepare it for its next use. Most customers aren’t charged.
