To make setting up your iPad as simple as possible, the following is necessary:

  • An internet connection through a Wi-Fi network

  • Your Apple ID login; if you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one when setting up your iPad

  • Your previous iPad or Android device, if you’re transferring your data to your new device

  1. Press and hold the top button until the Apple logo appears. You may need to charge your iPad, if the iPad doesn’t turn on.

  2. To set up your new iPad:

    • You can Set Up Manually, and follow the onscreen setup instructions.

    • If you have a Raylo iPhone with iOS 11, iPadOS 13, or later, you can use Quick Start to automatically set up your new device.

      • Simply bring the two devices close together, then follow the onscreen instructions to securely duplicate your settings, preferences, and iCloud Keychain.

      • You can then restore the rest of your data and content to your new iPad from your iCloud backup.

      • Or, if both Raylo devices have iOS 12.4, iPadOS 13, or later, you can transfer all your data wirelessly from your previous device to your new one. Make sure both devices are plugged into power and are close by each other during the process.

If you do have an older device or tablet and wish to transfer your data to your new Raylo iPad, please follow this link for more details.
