As soon as you receive a campaign invitation on Reachbird, we will also send you an e-mail and a text message (if your number is available). If you are not familiar with the the structure of the campaign manager yet, please read this article.

Instructions campaign process 

In your campaign view, you'll find all general conditions, such as campaign start, posting periods, etc., and the accompanying briefing. The briefing will tell you what your content requirements are on Instagram, YouTube, etc. Within the briefing you will also see an overview of the timings that must be adhered to in order to guarantee a smooth campaign flow for all sites. For you, this means that the drafts (first suggestions) and postings must be submitted to Reachbird at certain times specified by the client.

Below, we'll explain how the process works for both a post and story on Instagram. The procedure of other channels such as e.g. on YouTube is very similar to this.

Instructions Post-upload:

Once you have accepted a campaign and the customer finally confirms your participation, it's time to start the campaign.

Step 1.: 

  • In the campaign, you'll find an action called "upload draft". Here you can upload the image as you would post it on Instagram!
  • You can upload multiple files
  • You can change the order of the files via drag & drop after the upload

IMPORTANT: Pay attention to given draft period & WITH LABELING and the required hashtags & mentions in the description

Labeling:

As more attention is being paid to sponsored post advertising, it is important that your community perceive the post at first glance as (paid) advertising. So please place ADVERTISING //, AD // first. This is also necessary when using the Instagram branded content tool!

Step 2.: 

  • Wait for the release of the draft

The customer has the opportunity to view your draft and propose improvements or changes. If that happens, your draft will be rejected and you'll have to upload the modified draft to the campaign again! Once you get the approval, you'll be notified by email and on Reachbird!

Step 3.: 

  • after getting the approval to your post please upload the picture on Instagram! Make sure that you do not make any changes to the post once the draft is accepted.

 Step 4.: 

  • Once you publish the post, link it to your campaign on Reachbird! Go into the campaign, click on "submit post", and select the correct post with a double-click

Step 5.:

  • Once the customer confirms your post, your campaign is complete. You will receive your payouts at the latest 45 days after the end of the campaign. Learn more about the payment here.

The campaign process is slightly different in an Instagram story.

Instructions Instagram Story Upload:

IMPORTANT: Upload a multi-part story as a draft:

You can upload more than one "content piece" of your story. Simply select the desired files during upload. Attention: Video files need more time than pictures. Therefore wait with the confirmation of your drafts until all files are displayed above the text field.

Step 2.: 

  • Wait for the approval of the customer for your drafts

The customer has the opportunity to view your draft and to propose improvements or changes. If that happens, your draft will be rejected and you'll have to upload the modified draft to the campaign again! Once you get the approval, you will be notified by email and on Reachbird.

Step 3.: 

  • Once you've got the approval, post your story on Instagram! Make sure you do not make any changes to the story once the draft is accepted.

IMPORTANT: Note the timeframe and place the advertising tag and required hashtags & mentions visibly on your story

Step 4.: 

  • Take screenshots of the analytics of all story sequences after the story has finished. The following data should be visible: Interactions, reach, impressions! You will find these after the 24 hours in your Instagram story archive! 

Instructions Step by Step Instagram Archieve / Story views (SEE VIDEO):

  • 1. Step: Go to the Instagram archive after the story ends:
  • 2. Step: choose the right story
  • 3. Step: click on the analytics

Step 5.: 

  • Go into the campaign, click on "submit post" and upload the screenshots of your story insights! 

Attention: works only with computer / laptop!

Step 6.:

  • Once the customer confirms your post, your campaign is complete. You will receive your earnings at the latest 45 days after the end of the campaign. Learn more about the payment here.
