The success of an influencer marketing campaign can be measured and evaluated on the basis of certain key performance indicators (KPIs). Which KPIs are relevant depends on the chosen social media platform as well as the formats used (Post, Stories, Reels, etc.).

Commonly used are:

Gross reach

= Corresponds to the number of followers/subscribers.

Net Reach

= Shows how many users were actually reached.

Engagements

= Sum of interactions (likes, comments, shares)

Engagement Rate

= Ratio of interactions of a post to the total number of followers

CPE (Cost per Engagement)

= Cost per interaction

Comment-Follower-Rate

= Ratio of comments on a post to the total number of followers

Impressions

= Measures how often users have seen the content

CPM (Cost per Mille) / CPM (Thousand Contact Price)

= Advertising costs to achieve a gross reach of one thousand

Story View Rate / Reel View Rate

= Percentage of viewers of the Story / Reel in relation to the number of followers.
