Below are recommended prayer points to use as we repent, pray, and fast together on Saturday, November 22, 2025. These suggestions cover the following areas: praise, thanksgiving, worship, humility, repentance and forgiveness, evangelism, disciple-making, family, church, and government.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. -Psalm 100:4

• God, You are the Creator, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

• You alone, God, are worthy of our worship and our praise.

• You alone are God. You are all-powerful. You know everything. You are Holy.

• God, thank You for creating the universe and this world for us.

• Thank You for creating people as the pinnacle of Your creation so that we can know You and walk with You.

• Thank You for creating us as eternal beings and for Your promise to make all things new, including the heavens and the earth.

• We praise and glorify You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• Thank You for being a good, good father to us.

• Thank You for sending Jesus to save us from our sins.

• Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to fill us. Please anoint us with your Spirit today as we pray.

So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and petition and in sackcloth and ashes. -Daniel 9:3

• Lord, we are a broken and divided people. We are desperate for You. We are lost without You. Please draw near to us now.

• We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled and have turned away from Your commands and laws.

• Lord, You are righteous, but our state and nation are covered with shame because of our unfaithfulness to You and because we have sinned against You.

• We have broken Your law and have turned away, refusing to obey You.

• Yet God, You are merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against You and have not obeyed You.

• We have not sought Your favor, Lord, by turning from our sins and giving attention to Your truth.

• Forgive us, God, because we have sinned, we have fallen short, and we have sinned against You.

• Forgive us also for our sins against others and even against ourselves.

• Forgive us for failing to love You, God, with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

• Forgive us for our foolish pride and our desire to control our lives.

• Forgive us for playing God and deciding for ourselves what is good and what is evil, apart from Your Word.

All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. -Matthew 28:18-20

• We thank You, God, that so many young people today are interested in spiritual things and want to discover who You are in Your Word.

• Instill in us a God-inspired, deep love, compassion, and passion for those who are lost, broken, and far from You, God.

• Give us a passion and desire to love, engage, befriend, and serve those who have a desire to know more about You and give us courage and boldness to bear faithful witness to Jesus.

• Empower us to leave the 99, find the lost sheep, and bring them into Your fold.

• Give us courage, boldness, and clarity to speak the truth in love as we share the good news about Jesus Christ with our friends, neighbors, co-workers, and strangers.

• Give us the courage to invite others to know more about You by discovering who You are in Your Word.

• We ask that the Holy Spirit blow across our state, that You touch hearts, bring conviction of sin, and we see a movement of repentance from sin, revival, and a turning to You, God.

• We pray that we would see millions of baptisms as a sign of repentance and God’s authentic and lasting work in human hearts.

• Instill a burning passion in us and all believers to go and make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything that You commanded us to do, Jesus.

• We pray for a powerful movement of bold and courageous disciple makers, who will multiply and bear much fruit.

• Raise us up and send out workers for Your harvest, Lord, because the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

• We pray for the breaking of every dark principality, authority, and power that has a stronghold in California, and that You remove the blinders from the eyes of those who are far from God.

For this reason, a man will leave his father and his mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh. -Matthew 19:5

• We thank You for how You created man and woman in Your image and for Your beautiful design for marriage, family, and children.

• Lord, please help husbands to sacrificially love their wives, as You have loved the church.

• God, please help wives to respect and honor their husbands.

• Help husbands and wives to be mutually submitted and obedient to you as Lord and Savior.

• We ask that you restore and strengthen all marriages and all families.

• Lord, protect Christian marriages from being attacked and undermined by the enemy of our souls, who comes to kill, steal, and destroy.

• We pray that young people would see the goodness and beauty in getting married and having children, and raising them to love and fear God.

• Jesus, we ask that there would be a revival of faithfulness (fidelity) in marriage between husbands and wives.

• We ask that You turn the hearts of parents towards their children and children towards their parents

. . . on this rock I will build my church, and the gate of Hades will not overcome it.

• We pray that You cleanse and purify Your Bride and make her radiant.

• Help us as Your people to boldly and courageously model that which is good, true, and beautiful to a hurting and dying world.

• Help Your Bride be faithful to You, Jesus, in word and in deed.

• May Your church preach the whole Gospel: creation, fall, redemption, and restoration.

• Please raise up bold and courageous good shepherds who do not shrink back from preaching the full counsel of God.

• Free Your Bride from every temptation to give in to the growing pressure to compromise with, capitulate to, or assimilate with evil, darkness, and sin.

• Restore to us the idea of the priesthood of all believers; that every Christian has the holy obligation to love God, love people, and make disciples.

• Help us, God, to properly understand the role of Your church in this present darkness, to be salt and light, to serve as the watchmen on the wall, and be those who understand the times and know what to do. Lord, help us to understand and be prepared for spiritual warfare, recognizing that we are engaged in a spiritual battle and that we need to put on Your spiritual armor and join the fight.

I urge, then…that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. -I Timothy 2:1

• God, please give our government officials wisdom and discernment in their decision-making.

• Lord, empower our government officials to encourage and uphold justice and righteousness.

• God, help our government to act with integrity and honesty in their leadership.

• Lord, help our government officials to promote peace and maintain stability for the common good, and that we may live godly lives.

• Remind our officials of their God-ordained authority and duty to reward those who do good, and to punish those who do evil.

• Please remove those from government leadership who promote evil and who oppose good.

• God, enable our government officials to understand the limits of their God-given authority and restrain them from overreaching into the sacred spheres of the church and the family.

• Lord, help us as citizens understand that we, the people, have the ultimate authority in our constitutional republic and allow us to walk in that authority with wisdom and humility.

• God, please raise up more government leaders who know You, love You, obey You, and who will stand up and speak out for everything that is good, true, and beautiful.

• Encourage Your people to be bold and courageous in prophetically speaking truth in love to power when the government exceeds its proper authority or promotes evil.
