Filing in Your Own District

If you are searching for the UCP in your own school district, simply visit your local school district's website. Search their site (using a search bar) for "Uniform Complaint Procedure" and they should have a specific form for your own school district. If this cannot be found on their website, call the school district's office.

General Information on the UCP

The following is a pamphlet created by the CA Department of Education on specific details about the UCP. It explains what programs and services are covered or not covered by the UCP, how a complaint against your district is processed, and what the process for resolving the complaint is.
