Step 1: Authentication Setup
To access Aderant Expert’s APIs, authentication via Okta is required. Aderant will create a Client ID and Client Secret in Okta, along with an associated employee record in Expert with API access.
Requesting a Token:
Obtain Client ID and Client Secret from Aderant.

Step 2: API Access & Endpoints
Aderant provides API endpoints for Client and Matter data. Access requires a Windows account with Expert system permissions.

Important Notes
✅ Law firms must request integration details directly from Aderant.
✅ Access requires Okta authentication and an employee record in Aderant Expert.
✅ API permissions must be configured within Aderant for the integration to function properly.
