How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Your Firm via SMS

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Realaml account by requiring a one-time code sent to your mobile phone when you sign in.

Part 1: Set Up

Step 1: Open your Security settings

  1. Log in to your Realaml account

  2. Click your name in the bottom-left corner

  3. Select Profile, then scroll to the Security section

You will see two 2FA options:

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) via Authenticator App

Step 2: Enable 2FA via SMS and enter your mobile number

  1. Find Two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS

  2. Toggle the switch to turn it on (a setup window will appear)

  3. Enter your mobile phone number

  4. Select Continue

A 7-digit verification code will be sent to this number to confirm ownership.

Step 3: Enter the verification code

  1. Check your phone for the SMS from Realaml

  2. Enter the 7-digit verification code into the Verification Code field

  3. Select Verify Mobile Phone

If you do not receive the SMS, you can select Resend to request a new code.

Once confirmed, two-factor authentication via SMS will be active on your account.

Part 2: Logging in with SMS verification

Step 1: Log in as normal

Enter your email and password on the Realaml login screen.

Step 2: Enter your security verification code

After logging in, you will see the Security Verification screen.

  1. Check your phone for the SMS containing your one-time code

  2. Enter the code into the verification field

  3. Select Verify and Login

Once the code is accepted, you will be logged in successfully.
