Navigating the Dashboard

A real-time view of your organization's scan activity, navigation to all Reality Defender products, and quick access to account settings and support.

Overview

When you log in to Reality Defender, you'll automatically see the dashboard. This is your starting point for monitoring scan activity, accessing your products, and managing your account.

Scan activity

The main dashboard displays a metrics panel and three charts summarizing your organization's detection activity. Admins see activity across the entire organization. All other users see their own scans only.

Total scans

Overall scan count with a breakdown by media type: image, video, audio, and text.

Scan frequency

Scan volume over time, broken down by conclusion (Authentic, Manipulated, Inconclusive). Filter by media type to narrow the view.

Scans by API key

Which API keys are driving the most scan volume, shown as a percentage of total scans.

Scans by result

Distribution of conclusions across all media types, shown as a percentage.

Sidebar navigation

The left sidebar gives you access to everything in the platform.

  • Dark/light mode — toggle display preferences from the top of the sidebar

  • Dashboard — returns to this view

  • Your products — subscribed products appear in the sidebar for quick access. Products not on your plan are greyed out.

  • Team — manage users and roles (admin only)
