What are some factors affecting the accuracy of the detection on Reality Defender?

There are many factors that affect the accuracy of detectors. For example, when media is passed through a social media platform, compression noise is added. Unnatural variation of the media such as extreme face poses, partial visible face, blurry video, subject being too far from the camera, etc also affects accuracy of the detector. A new method which synthesizes more realistic deepfakes on which the existing detectors are not trained would also affect the performance.
