Interested vs. Uninterested Properties
Summary
Clients can mark any listing in RealScout as Interested or Uninterested to organize their home search. These selections are saved in dedicated pages within the client's account and can be changed at any time.
How It Works
Every listing in RealScout can receive one of two feedback labels from the client:
Interested: Saves the property for future reference. It will appear on the client's Interested page.
Uninterested: Removes the property from the client's active listing view. It will appear on the client's Uninterested page.
Both labels are optional. A client can leave a property without any label, remove a label at any time, or switch a property from Uninterested back to Interested.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Marking a Property as Interested or Uninterested
Log in to your RealScout homebuyer account.
Browse your available listings.
On a listing, click Interested to save it for future reference.
Or click Uninterested to remove it from your active listing view.
Updating or Clearing a Selection
Locate the property on either your Interested or Uninterested page.
To remove the label entirely, uncheck the active selection. The property will no longer appear on either page.
To switch a property from Uninterested to Interested, click Interested on that listing.
Viewing Your Saved Properties
Log in to your RealScout homebuyer account.
In the left navigation, click Interested to see photos and a list of all properties you have marked as Interested.
In the left navigation, click Uninterested to review all properties you have dismissed.
Common Questions and Edge Cases
Can I change my selection after I have made it?
Yes. You can switch between Interested and Uninterested, or uncheck both options to leave the property without a label at any time.
Does removing a label bring the property back to my main search view?
Yes. Unchecking Uninterested will make the property visible again in your active listing view.
Where do I find properties I marked as Interested?
Go to the Interested page in the left navigation of your RealScout account. Properties are shown with photos and listing details.
Where do I find properties I dismissed?
Go to the Uninterested page in the left navigation of your RealScout account.
