Your Rebag Selling Timeline — From the Moment We Receive Your Item to Your Payout

A week-by-week walkthrough of what's happening behind the scenes after you ship your item to Rebag — when to expect each step, where your item is in the process, and when your payout lands in your Wallet.

Thank you for selling with Rebag.

From the moment you ship your item, our team begins a careful process to inspect, prepare, and pay you. Below is a clear week-by-week view of what is happening behind the scenes — so you always know where your item is in the journey, even when you don't see a new update in your account.

The big picture: Once we receive your item, the full process — from white glove inspection through payout landing in your Rebag Wallet — typically takes 30 to 45 days. Watches and Fine Jewelry add about one extra week to this timeline.

Tap each week below to expand and see what's happening.

WEEK 1 — YOUR ITEM IS IN TRANSIT

After you accept your quote and ship your item, the package takes approximately 5 to 7 business days to reach our facility.

  • You can track your shipment using the FedEx label provided to you.

  • When your item arrives, you will see "Received" in your Rebag account under the Submissions section.

  • If you dropped off your item in-store: items valued over $7,000, all Fine Jewelry, and all Watches are shipped to our home office for processing — so your timeline begins from when our home office receives the item.

What you need to do: Nothing. Just keep an eye out for the "Received" confirmation. After that, our team takes over.

WEEK 2 — IN WHITE GLOVE INSPECTION

Once we have your item in hand, it enters the queue for our white glove inspection — a careful, expert review of every detail.

  • Our specialists look at brand markings, hardware, stitching, materials, condition, and provenance to confirm your item is everything we expect for resale at Rebag.

  • For most categories this step takes about 1 week after we receive the item. For Watches and Fine Jewelry, please allow an additional week.

  • During peak periods (December and around major holidays) this step can sometimes extend into Week 3.

Important — watch for a revised offer email. If our inspection identifies a condition detail that affects your quote, we will send you a revised offer by email. These emails sometimes land in your spam or junk folder — please check there if you haven't heard from us by the end of Week 2. We can't move your item forward until you accept or decline the revised offer.

WEEK 3 — QUALITY CONTROL AND PREPARING FOR LISTING

After your item passes white glove inspection, it moves through a final quality check and is prepared to be listed for sale on Rebag.com.

  • You may see your item appear on Rebag.com during this week — that means it has cleared our review and is on the way to being officially listed.

  • Your payout is being prepared in parallel and will land in your Rebag Wallet in the coming weeks — see Week 5 below.

Important — seeing your item listed does NOT mean your payout has been issued yet. The listing and your payout run on separate timelines. Your payout is being prepared in parallel and will appear in your Wallet within the standard 30-to-45-day window.

WEEK 4 — YOUR PAYOUT IS BEING PROCESSED

Once your item has cleared inspection and quality control, your payout enters our standard processing cycle.

There's no action needed from you during this time — your funds are moving through our standard payout flow and will be ready for you to access soon.

Watches and Fine Jewelry sellers: Add one extra week to this timeline — your payout should land in your Wallet between day 37 and day 52.

WEEK 5 — YOUR PAYOUT LANDS IN YOUR REBAG WALLET

Between day 30 and day 45 after we received your item, your payout will appear in your Rebag Wallet, ready for you to use or extract.

  • You can use your Wallet balance immediately as Rebag credit on any purchase.

  • You can also extract your funds to your bank account at any time.

  • Withdrawal timing and fees: Withdrawals made within the first 15 days after funds land in your Wallet are subject to a 3% processing fee. Withdrawals made after that 15-day window are free.

When should you reach out to us? If it has been more than 45 days since we received your item (or more than 52 days for Watches or Fine Jewelry) and you have not seen your payout in your Wallet, please contact us and we'll look into it right away.

A NOTE ON SEASONAL DELAYS

December is our busiest season and timelines may extend by a few days. Public holidays and FedEx-observed holidays also affect transit and processing. If your timeline runs slightly longer during these periods, your item is still on track.
