Rechargly doesn’t automatically send a PDF invoice to clients when invoices are issued. However, you’ve got a few ways to make sure your clients can access and download their invoices:

1. Turn on Customer Portal in Stripe

  • Login to Stripe

  • Go into Billing > Customer Portal

  • Make your Customer portal Active.

When the portal is active, you can share this link with your client and they can view all previous invoices.

2. Turn on payments in Stripe

  • Log in to Stripe

  • Go to Settings > Business > Customer Emails

  • Turn on “Successful payments”

When this is enabled, every time a client is successfully charged, Stripe will email them a receipt that includes a link to download their invoice.

3. View invoices from Agreements

  • Go to your Agreements page in Rechargly.

  • Find the customer’s agreement and copy the unique agreement URL.

  • Share this URL with your client. (They also receive their own unique link via email when they’re first onboarded.)

From there, your client can:

  • View all of their past invoices, and

  • Download the latest invoice by expanding the invoice toggle, clicking the […], and then you can download it.

This way, your clients always have access to their invoices -whether through Stripe or directly via their Rechargly agreement link.
