Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) Not Working

How to setup multi-factor authentication (MFA) in Rechargly.

When signing in with your email and password, you may encounter an issue where you appear to be stuck in a login loop. You might also see the following error message:

Firebase: This operation is sensitive and requires recent authentication. Log in again before retrying this request. (auth/requires-recent-login)

How to fix the login loop issue

  1. Log Out Of Your Account

    • Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the Rechargly dashboard.

    • Select Logout.

  2. Log Back In

    • Return to the login page and sign in again with your email and password.

After logging back in, you can proceed to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for additional account security.

How to check if you've enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

  1. Go to My Account.

  2. Click the button Add authentication method.

  3. Follow the on-screen authentication steps to complete the setup.

When setup is complete, your screen should look like the example below.
