Why Set Up Email Headers?

  1. Ensure replies reach the right contact: The Main Contact Address serves as the default reply-to address, so when customers respond to an email, their replies will go directly to the specified email, such as your accounting firm’s general inbox or a specific team member.

  2. Stay informed with CC emails: Adding CC emails allows team members or partners to stay updated on outgoing communications. This can be useful for monitoring client interactions or ensuring transparency across your team.

How to Configure Email Headers

  1. From Name Field: Enter your preferred name to appear in the email sender line (e.g., “Andrew via Rechargly”). Your emails will appear as: [Your Name] via Rechargly (notifications@rechargly.com)

  2. Main Contact Address: Add the primary email that customers should reply to. Example: mail@yourfirm.com

  3. CC Email Address: Optionally, add additional emails to be CC’d on outgoing communications. You can use multiple email addresses if needed or simply click “Use main contact email.”

Pro Tip to Prevent Inbox Clutter

To keep your inbox organised, set up an email rule in your email client (such as Outlook or Gmail) to automatically filter emails from notifications@rechargly.com with the subject line format:

[Your Name] via Rechargly

You can create a rule to send these emails to a designated folder, helping you stay organised while maintaining visibility over important communications.
