Migration client billing information if you use Ignition

How to access your client’s billing information if your firm uses Ignition.

Ignition are powered by Stripe, and unfortunately, because of the integration they’ve built, you cannot migrate your client’s billing information.

There is an alternative process that you can follow to access your client’s billing information.


Process:


  1. Get the last 4 digits from Ignition that’s being used to pay for the Xero sub:

  2. Go to Xero blue to get both BSB and Account Numbers – if not registered as the bank account in the Xero file you have access to e.g. when client uses their personal bank deets proceed to next step.

  3. Refer to XPM, if not available, proceed to next step.

  4. Go to the tax portal e.g. the ATO and search financial institution details – used to pay off taxes or refund.

  5. The last option is to call the client to confirm their bank details.
