How to change the invoice date for draft, scheduled and created invoices

How to change the invoice date

You can change the invoice date depending on the invoice status. Follow the steps below for draft or scheduled invoices and for invoices already created.

For draft or scheduled invoices

  1. Open the Setup page:

  2. Update the Invoice Date field to your preferred date.

  3. Go to the Invoices page and you will notice the date update

  4. Save changes. This will apply to draft or scheduled invoices when they are created.

For invoices already created

  1. Open the Invoices page:

  2. Click Void next to the invoice you need to change.

  3. Choose to keep the charges.

  4. Invoices will be recreated and will be set at either Draft or Scheduled.

  5. Use Send Now to recreate the invoice and enter the correct Invoice Date during sending.
