How to update your customer's name and email address in Rechargly

How to update a customer’s name or email address

If your client has changed their name or email address, you need to update this information through your Xero Blue account. After updating the contact’s billing information in Xero, you can immediately reflect these changes in Rechargly by re-syncing the integration connection. Note that Rechargly automatically refreshes the Xero integration daily, but manual re-syncing allows for immediate updates.

Steps to re-sync your integration

  1. Navigate to the Integration tab in Rechargly

  2. Find the dropdown menu beside the Status column of your Xero connection.

  3. Select ‘Re-sync now’ from the dropdown options.

  4. Wait 2-3 minutes

  5. Your updated contact information will then be reflected in Rechargly.

How to bulk update contacts in Xero

  1. Go to the Mapping page and export customers into a spreadsheet.



  2. Go to Xero XPM or wherever your contacts are stored.

  3. Map the empty Rechargly customer data to your XPM data

  4. Take the exported data and import it into Xero Blue. This will allow you to update multiple contact records at once

  5. Navigate to the Integration tab in Rechargly and refresh the integration
