If your client has changed their name or email address, you’ll need to update this information through your Xero Blue account.
After updating the contact’s billing information in Xero, you can immediately reflect these changes in Rechargly by manually re-syncing your integration. While Rechargly automatically refreshes the Xero integration daily, a manual re-sync applies the changes right away.
Steps to re-sync your integration
Go to the Integrations tab in Rechargly.
Find your Xero connection and open the dropdown menu beside the Status column.
Select Re-sync now from the dropdown options.
Wait 2–3 minutes for the sync to complete.
Your updated contact information will then appear in Rechargly.
How to bulk update contacts in Xero
Go to the Mapping page in Rechargly and export your customers into a spreadsheet.
Go to Xero XPM or your preferred contact management source.
Map the empty Rechargly customer data to your XPM data.
Import the updated spreadsheet into Xero Blue to update multiple contact records at once.
Return to the Integrations tab in Rechargly and refresh the integration to pull through the latest updates.
Pro Tip: For large updates, always back up your customer data before importing to Xero to prevent overwriting or duplicate records.
