Setting Up A Class

Updated over 5 months ago

Users must have the 'Add Classes/Instructors' to add a new class category and the individual classes within.

Class Category

From the "All Classes" page within the navigation menu, users will select 'New Category' or class type, such as Yoga or Zumba. Users can name the class type, make it visible to members, and create a description. Once the information has been input and saved, then individual classes can be created by selecting 'New Class' towards the bottom of the page.

Creating a Class

Before creating a class, Spaces and Instructors must be set up. (See previous set up instructions)

Users will be able to set the Space where the class will be, the Instructor teaching the class, Level and/or Intensity, and whether Childcare is available during the class.

Then, users can input the dates, times, and length of the class. A class cycle must also be dictated. For example: a weekly class that takes place every Tuesday and Thursday. Users are also able to put in exception dates if the class will not take place as normal.

Additionally, registration can be required for a class, with similar settings found in program registration. This setting will force members/participants to go through the registration process, like with programs.

Once this information has been input and saved, a new options will appear which allows for more customization of the registration process.

Advanced Settings

A new page will open that resembles the program setup page. Uses have options to input an email to be notified when participants register, add restrictions, add registration questions, determine pricing, etc. Use of these settings will make the class registration process very much like that of program registration.

If you have specific questions about advanced settings, please see the Program Setup instructions.
