Standard Equipment Recommendations
Daxko Core is designed to reduce your dependency on specific hardware/software vendors and specific hardware/software configurations. To help you make decisions about your association’s hardware needs, we have compiled a list of recommendations.
We recommend that you test any current equipment using your Daxko Core training site. If you find that the existing equipment meets the requirements for the purposes outlined below, there’s no need to purchase any of the items listed.
Member Check-In / Driver’s License Scanner
We recommend using the 2D Symcode Omnidirectional Barcode Reader/Scanner which can be purchased on Amazon via the link below.
Printer
Any business quality laser printer can be used for printing member receipts and reports from the Daxko Core system.
Membership Cards
Daxko Core doesn’t have a specific requirement for membership cards. Most Daxko Core customers use digital membership cards sent through Core (via text or email) and/or keychain membership cards. Keychain cards are usually less expensive and easier for members to carry, which simplifies their check-in process. Most card printing companies allow you to customize full size or keychain cards with your organization’s name, logo, address, etc. along with preprinted barcodes that appear on the front or back of the card, Barcodes can contain numbers and/or letters, which can be entered into the barcode field on a member’s information page.
Webcam for Member Photos
To take new member photos, the Daxko Core system recommends webcams from the Logitech series. To stabilize the web cam, most of our customers use an inexpensive tripod solution or mount the webcam to the top of the computer monitor.
Credit Card Terminal
Daxko Core utilizes Ingenico Lane EMV devices to streamline the process of onboarding new members by minimizing human error. We offer three models, each compatible with swipe, chip, tap, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The Daxko Core team can order these devices through our payment gateway and have them shipped directly to your organization.
Optional Equipment Recommendations
24/7 Facility Access
Daxko Core uses a Raspberry Pi device to fulfill facility access requirements. Our team will order the device, configure the necessary parameters, and subsequently ship it to your organization once the setup is complete.

Childcare Labels
To print parent/guardian/child labels for use with Space Check-in, we recommend using a Dymo Label Printer, Dymo Labels and 2D Symcode Omnidirectional Barcode Reader/Scanner, which can be purchased on Amazon via the links below.
