Outside of the Placeholder and Waitlist set up options, there is another way to gather potential program participant information before allowing a full program registration. This concept is often referred to as an Interest or Inquiry Form. This allows organizations to set up the Form registration to be visible to participants while the actual division session is only accessible via a direct link.
Set up one program and division specifically for the inquiry form that is visible to members and available for online registration.
Set up the hidden program with divisions to the following settings:
Set program to 'Only visible to staff'
Set divisions to 'Visible to everyone'
Set division registration setting to 'Online'
Once someone fills out the interest form and are approved to register, a direct link to the division can be sent.
If an organization would prefer to handle registrations in-house instead of online, then the visibility settings can be changed, the online setting turned off, and all registrations handled by staff.
