The bio is the background story of your artist or band. The bio can also contain important or fun facts about specific releases, it’s all up to you. You have 1 500 characters at your disposal.
You can use @tags to link to other Spotify content like albums that inspired you, artists you’ve collaborated with, or playlists you’re featured on.
Add or update your bio
🖥 In the web app:
Log in to Spotify for Artists
Go to Profile
To add or edit bio, go to ABOUT. Under Bio, click the pencil icon.
📱 In the mobile app:
Tap the profile icon in the bottom-right
Tap the text field under About
Tap SAVE when you're done
