Overview

Candidate Spotlights are now available in your RecView account. They allow you to share candidate video interviewss with your clients — including interview highlights, CVs, summaries, and a booking link — all in one shareable, trackable link.

How to Create a Candidate Spotlight

  1. Open a candidate interview — Click on a candidate interview as you normally would.

  2. Start the Spotlight — Click Share → Create Candidate Spotlight.

Adding a CV

  • If your ATS (e.g., JobAdder) is connected and has a CV on file, RecView will pull it through automatically.

  • If no CV for this candidate is found in your ATS.

Summary

A summary is auto-filled for you when the Spotlight is generated. You can edit any part of this summary before sharing.

Sharing Interview Highlights

  • You can share highlights from the interview with your client.

  • Trim the clip by dragging and dropping to select the portion you want to share. From a 30-minute interview, you can isolate just the key moment that will drive engagement and get the interview booked.

  • If the interview is longer, more highlights will be available to choose from.

  • You can add one of your booking links so the client can book a time to speak with you about the candidate.

What the Client Sees

Anyone with the link will:

  1. Enter their email address to access the Spotlight

  2. Watch the selected interview highlight (and nothing else)

  3. View the candidate summary

  4. View and download the CV

  5. Book a time directly with you to discuss the candidate

Tracking & Analytics

Once a client has viewed the Spotlight, you can see who watched it and when they visited. This is especially useful when floating or speccing out candidates — you can follow up with a call right after they've watched it to discuss the potential candidate.
