How To Create A Solo Interview

This guide will walk you through the steps required to create a solo interview, from navigating to the correct section to adding questions.

1. Navigate to the Solo Interviews Section

Click 'Solo interviews' on the sidebar

2. Start Creating a Solo Interview

Click 'Create Solo Interview' button

3. Enter title

The title is something the candidate will see. We suggest using the title of the role you're recruiting for.

4. Select your camera

Select your devices. Both camera and microphone inputs can be selected

5. Record your introduction

Record an introduction video that the candidate will see before the questions. Make it personable and tell them about the upcoming questions as well as if it will or won't be shared with a client. This is your chance to influence the candidate to complete the interview.

6. Once you're happy save the video

You can discard the video and re-record if you're not happy!

7. Click Add Question button

When you're ready click add question to add your first interview question!

8. Record your question

You can add as many questions as you'd like but remember that it's a candidate on the other end of the solo interview. Make sure that it's short enough that they'll complete the interview and detailed enough that you get the information you need.

9. Click Share button

Once you're happy with everything click the share button at the top and your first solo interview is live!

10. Copy and share your link

Copy tour link and share it to any candidates you'd like to complete the solo interview. You can send this via any method you like.

For example. Search for a list of great candidates for a specific role and in your email to them all include the solo interview link. Once they've completed it you'll be notified and you can login to watch!
