Disappointments are something we hate having in our lives especially when it happens at the dying minutes. Having a declined gift card can give you that feeling and though your thoughts might be “why did I trade with these guys” or “Redem don scam me” which are definitely not the right thoughts.
We are here to list out the reasons why your gift cards got declined.
· You might have an invalid card.
An invalid card means that the code is incorrect or has not been properly activated for the use. However, your card can also be invalid if it has breached the terms and condition of the company producing your gift card or if the redeem code on your card is not correct. You could avoid this by adhering to the terms and conditions and ensuring that your cards picture is clear and the code are not over-scratched.
· Already redeemed card.
We advise that you treat your Gift cards like you would treat your regular debit card. Always ensure that your card is not disclosed.
· Deactivated Gift cards.
A card is deactivated because it was detected as either stolen or missing. Kindly note that Redem cannot resolve the issue of a deactivated card- we advise that you inform your source about the issue.
· Unactivated Gift cards
Some service products would request that you gift card is activated before use. Kindly ensure that it is activated at the point of purchase to enable trades.
