An RSS reader also called a feed reader, is a browser add-on program designed to gather and display RSS feeds according to user-definable parameters. An RSS reader can reduce the time and effort needed to check online publications for updates. It creates, in effect, a personalised news subscription for the Internet user.
Redii has created a way for you to use an RSS Feed to display your recognition wall on an RSS Reader.
All you need to do is create your RSS link for your Redii Program.
Step 1 - Choose your RSS link -
Generic Link:
https://<your_program_subdomain>.redii.com/api/recognition/v1/moments.rss?token=<your_program_token>
Authenticated RSS Link:
https://x:<your_program_token>@<your_program_subdomain>.redii.com/api/recognition/v1/moments.rss
To Filter out Auto Awards - If you do not want birthdays or work anniversaries to show
https://x:<your_program_token>@<your_program_subdomain>.redii.com//api/recognition/v1/moments.rss?show_auto_awards=false
Increase to 20 Recognition Instances per page -
https://<your_program_subdomain>.redii.com/api/recognition/v1/moments.rss?page=1&limit=20&token=<your_program_token>
Step 2 - Replace <your_program_subdomain> with your programs url name. You can find this like below.
Step 3 - Create an API key for the link.
Step 4 - Copy the code as per below and replace <your_program_token> with this code.
Step 5 - You should now have your RSS link. See below for example.
https://x:308dfaf64413ab7b7791f49df77e21d8@connect.redii.com/api/recognition/v1/moments.rss
Step 6 - Add this link into the RSS Reader you are using and you will now see the Recognition Wall instances of recognition in your feed.
