How to Use the Communications Hub

This Communications feature contains conversations made by users. This is made available on Assets, Maintenance, and Operations tools in Redlist.

Redlist offers a convenient way to communicate updates done on assets, maintenance activities, and jobs. The Communications Hub is available in the Operations, Assets, and Maintenance tools.

Here are the steps on how to use this feature:

On Assets

  1. Go to "Assets"

  2. Look for the asset in a group, or on the list of all assets

  3. Click to open and see the details of the asset organized in tabs

  4. Go to "Communication"

  5. You can start, or comment on conversations. This feature has been improved by allowing tags to be added.

  6. You can click on the available tags (Upload Video/Image, Tag Person, or Tag Work). You can also type in "#" to tag a work or "@" to tag a user.

    Consider this as an example:

    Once the comment or conversation has been posted, the tags will be applied.

  7. Click on the applicable tags. A new tab will be opened, and you will be redirected to the specifics of the tag that you selected.

    For example, if you selected a tagged person, you will be redirected to a page containing all the conversations wherein that person was mentioned or tagged:

    If you selected the work, you will be redirected to the details of that work order:

  8. You can also explore all the conversations made on that specific work order when you click on the "Communications" tab:

    On Maintenance

  1. Go to "Maintenance", then to a work board

  2. Select a Work Order and view its details. Click on the "Communication" tab.

  3. You can start, or comment to an existing conversation. This feature has been improved by allowing tags to be added.

    You can click on the available tags (Upload Video/Image, Tag Person, or Tag Work). You can also type in "#" to tag a work or "@" to tag a user.

  4. Once the comment or conversation has been posted, the tags will be applied.

Click on the applicable tags. A new tab will be opened, and you will be redirected to the specifics of the tag that you selected.

For example, if the tagged work order is selected, you will be redirected to its details. You can also access all the discussions made on it if you click on the "Communication" tab:

If you select the person that was tagged in the conversation, you will be redirected to a page that contains all the conversations wherein that person was mentioned or tagged.

On Operations

  1. Go to "Operations", then on "Jobs"

  2. Select a job and go to the "Comms Hub"

  3. You can start, or comment on a conversation. This feature has been improved by allowing tags to be added.

    You can click on the available tags (Upload Video/Image, Tag Person, or Tag Work). You can also type in "#" to tag a work or "@" to tag a user.

  4. Once the conversation or comment has been posted, you may now be able to click on the tags.

  5. Select a tag and you will be redirected to a new page that will contain more of the details on the selected item.

    For example, if you click on the tagged Work Order, you will be able to view all of its pertinent details.

    You may also see the conversations made on it by clicking "Communication"

    If you click the person that was tagged, you will be redirected to a new page that will contain the conversations wherein that same person was mentioned:
