In Redlist's PM Program templates, the General section within the Edit Task modal allows users to establish and modify essential information for a task. This section includes several fields that provide foundational details for the task. Here is an overview of the available fields in the General section:

Task Type

This field represents a concise description of the action required to complete the task. To add a Task Type, start typing in the dropdown field. Any previously used task types will be available for selection. If a new Task Type is needed, users can click on the "Create" option within the dropdown. A modal will appear, enabling users to create a new Task Type that can be immediately utilized.

Maintenance Method Used

This field provides a brief description of how the task is to be performed. Users can enter the maintenance method by typing in the dropdown field, and previously used methods will be available for selection. Similar to Task Types, new maintenance methods can be created directly in the maintenance method dropdown

Board

The Board dropdown indicates where the task created by this task template can be accessed and assigned to users for completion.

Duration

This field allows users to estimate the number of hours required to complete the task.

Criticality

Users can set the criticality of the task using this field. The options are pre-defined and cannot be modified or added to.

Special Instructions

This field enables administrators to provide specific notes, steps, and directions on how to complete the task. Any information added here will be visible to users as they work on the task.
