Once tasks have been added to components and work order templates have been created for a PM program in Redlist, component tasks can then be assigned to relevant work order templates. A task can be assigned to multiple work order templates as needed. When a task is added to a work order template, it will be included in the work order generated from that template, ready to be assigned and completed by users. To assign a task to a work order template:
Step 1: Click on "Maintenance" then select "PM Programs"
Step 2: Search for and choose the desired PM program
Step 3: Click on "Edit"
There are two options to assign tasks to a work order template:
Option 1: Click and Drag
Click on a task and hover it over the template to assign the task to. The selected work order template will be highlighted with a grey backdrop. Release the click to assign the task to the highlighted work order template.
Option 2: Bulk Assignment
Select tasks by clicking the checkbox next to the task type
Then click "Move to Work Order"
Choose the work order template to which you want to assign the selected tasks
Click on "Move Tasks"
As tasks are assigned to work order templates, the number of tasks assigned to each template will be displayed in the middle of the respective work order template card.
