Redlist allows assets to be associated with PM programs, allowing users to establish a direct link between assets and their corresponding PM programs. By associating an asset with a PM program, all asset sections, components, tasks, and work order templates included in the PM program will be automatically applied to the linked asset(s). Additionally, any changes or updates made to the PM program will be made to the associated assets as well. To associate an asset with a PM program:
Step 1: Click on "Maintenance" then select "PM Programs"
Step 2: Search for and choose the desired PM program
Step 3: Click the "Add" button on the Associated Assets tile
This will direct you to a screen displaying all assets currently linked to the PM program.
Note - if assets have already been associated to the selected PM Program the "Add" button will be an "Edit" button.
Step 4: Click on "Add Asset"
Step 5: Search for and select the asset(s) you wish to link to the PM program
Note - The "Filter" button can be utilized to search for groups of assets that can be associated in bulk.
Step 6: Click on "Add Assets"
Step 7: Click on "Back to Template Builder"
The Associated Assets tile will now reflect the updated count of associated assets linked to the PM program.
Please note that upon associating new assets with a PM program, the following message will appear stating that it may take a few minutes for the changes to propagate throughout the application.
