Redlist allows users to create quotes for pending jobs that can be sent to customers for review and approval before the job is scheduled. To create a quote;

Step 1: Click on "Operations" and select "Queues"

Step 2: Open or Create a New Job

  • To create a quote for a new job, click the "Create" button.

  • To create a quote for an existing job, click on the colored header for the job that a quote needs to be created for, and skip to step eight.

Step 3: Fill out the information in the "General" section

Any field with a red asterisk is required.

Step 4: Fill out the information in the "Date/Time" section

The date and time entered here is not the date range that the quote is valid for. This date and time range is the estimated days that the job will be completed on.

Step 5: Add the client contact to the job

Multiple contacts can be added if needed.

Step 6: Add the location of the job

Multiple locations can be added if needed.

Step 7: Add assignments to the job

These are the line items that will be added to the quote.

Step 8: Click on "Content" and select "Quotes"

Step 9: Click on "New Quote" to create a new quote

Step 10: Review the job information input in the previous screen

The line items added in the previous screen will auto-populate with "1" occurrence, the quantity entered in the assignments section, and the default rate set for that Bill as Type. Any of this information can be edited for any line item by clicking in the associated cell and entering in the new value.

Example - A crane company added a Rigger line item to the job, and they are planning on performing the job over the course of 5 days and having 3 riggers on the job. The line item for riggers could have the following values. Occurrence - 3 (For the three riggers needed), Quantity of 5 (For the number of days the job will take)

Step 11: Optional - add a tax or additional fee % or flat rate charge

Step 12: Click "Create & Download"

This will create the quote and download a PDF copy of the form that can be sent to the client for review and approval.
