Forms are an essential feature of Redlist, used to record various types of data, such as equipment inspections, safety incidents, fuel logs, and operational data. To create a form:

Step 1: Click on the "Forms" and select "Manage"

Step 2: Click on "Create New Form Template."

Step 3: Give the form a name and title.

The Name is what shows in Redlist when a user selects and fills out a form, and the Title is what appears at the top of the form PDF after submission.

For example, the form name could be "D.O.T Pre Op," and the form title would be "Department of Transportation Pre Operation Inspection."

Step 4: Add a description if necessary

For Example, "Fill out the pre-operation inspection before operating any piece of equipment."

Step 5: Add questions to the form

Note - You can also customize questions using the "Edit" button to add additional logic and settings.

Step 6: Add additional sections, if needed

Step 7: Preview the Form

This allows users to see how the form will look and act for users.

Note - any answers or submissions entered in the preview screen will not be saved. They are for testing purposes only.

Step 8: Click "Save" to create your form

After the form is created, it can be accessed by users in the "Forms" section. Users can select and fill out the form, and the data will be automatically stored and accessible for reporting and analysis.
