Redlist users can attach files, photos, and videos to questions in forms using the File/Photo logic. This overview will explain how to set up both conditional and static file/photo logic and make files/photos required in the form. To allow users to attach photos and videos to questions on a form, first go to the form builder and find the question to configure File/Photo logic on.
Note - file size limit is 200MB
Conditional File/Photo Logic:
To allow files and photos to be attached to questions based on answers to other questions, follow these steps:
Step 1: Set the "File/phot" dropdown to "When"
Step 2: Select the question that the current question is dependent on
Step 3: Select when to allow files to be attached to the question
If a specific answer is required for files and photos to be added to the current question, set the "Answered with" dropdown to "Any of the following answers (specified below)" and select the relevant options.
Note - If the question is dependent on a dropdown question, the dropdown question will need to be opened by clicking on the "Edit" button on that question. This will ensure that the entire list of options in the dropdown shows when selecting when to allow files and photos to be attached
If files and photos should be allowed to be attached no answer is given, set the "Answered with" dropdown to "No answer (Question is left unanswered/blank)".
Step 4: Click "Done"
Static File/Photo Logic:
To always allow files and photos to be attached to a question, follow these steps
Step 1: Select "Always" from the "File/Photo" dropdown.
Step 2: Click "Done"
Note - if you want to require a file of photo to be attached to a question, check the "Photo is Required" box
