Every user in Redlist is assigned a License Type, which determines the level of access they have within the tool. It is crucial to correctly tag each user with their appropriate license to ensure that they can access the parts of the tool they need. Additionally, pricing is based on the number of each type of user in an account. Therefore, assigning the correct license type to each user ensures accurate billing.
Here are the steps to assign a License Type to a user
Step 1: Click on "Admin" and select "Users"
Step 2: Search for and select a user
Step 3: Click on the License Type dropdown and select one of the four license types available:
Collect: Basic user, only has access to view and submit forms.
Complete: Can do everything a Collect user can, plus they can view and complete tasks and work orders as well as jobs and service tickets.
Create: Can do everything a Complete user can, and has the ability to create tasks and work orders in the maintenance module, as well as jobs and assignments in the operations module. Also gives full access to all admin settings for your account.
Connect: This user has access to everything Create users do, and they are also given access to our integration hub to connect Redlist with other software and hardware as needed.
Step 4: Click Save to apply the changes
