Redlist provides import templates that streamline the process of importing data. This article outlines the steps to access and use these templates.
Step 1: Go to the import tool
Step 2: Click on the "Import Data" button.
Step 3: Select a data type and click "Next"
Step 4: Click on the "Download Asset Template" button
This will download the .csv template for the data type that you selected.
Step 5: Open the template.
These templates contain all of the required and optional fields for each data type that can be imported into Redlist.
Step 6: Enter Data into the Template
Fields with an asterisk "*" at the beginning of the field name are required fields that must be filled out in order for the data to be imported. All other fields are optional and can be filled out as needed.
Step 7: Enter data into the template file
This information can be copy and pasted from another system, or manually created from scratch
