To manage work orders for your teams, you can create and organize Work Boards in Redlist. This allows you to track your team's performance on different types of work and makes work orders easier to find. You can create as many work boards as needed to organize the different types of work your team oversees and set permissions so they only see the work they are responsible for.

For example, you might create Preventative Maintenance and Repair work boards for your Maintenance team. Or Incident Investigation and Safety Hazard Report work boards for you Safety team.

To create a work board for a team,

Step 1: Click on "Admin" and then select "Manage Teams"

Step 2: Select the team you want to add a board to

Select the module the team is in and then click on the team

Step 3: Click "New Board"

Step 4: Enter a board name

Step 5: Select a Due Date Unit of Measure

This will be the unit of measure that your work orders due date will show in

Ex. 30 days until due, 325 miles until due, or 150 hours until due

Step 5: Select a Duration Unit of Measure

This will be the unit of measure that shows how long a work order should take to complete

Ex. 180 min or 3 hours

Step 6: Add columns to your board

You can add as many columns as needed, but you must have at least one column with a status of "To Do" and one column with a status of "Complete"

For example, a Repair work board for a maintenance team might have the following columns: a "To do" column with a "To Do" status, a "Ready for Work" column with an "Approved" status, an "In Progress" column with an "In Progress" status, a "Waiting on Parts" column with an "In Progress" status, and a "Complete" column with a "Complete" status.

Step 6: Click "Save" to create the board
