Event Bar to show color based on color settings
Overview:
In this release, we've introduced several significant enhancements to provide you with a more intuitive and flexible user experience. Our goal is to streamline your interactions and improve the overall usability of the platform.
Key Features and Improvements:
1. Event Color Customization:
To enhance visual differentiation, you can now set custom colors for events.
This feature allows for a range of color options to choose from, making events more distinct and identifiable.
2. Non-Intrusive Selection Border:
We've ensured that the existing selection border remains unchanged, ensuring a consistent user experience.
Events maintain their visual integrity while still allowing for color customization.
3. Simplified Color Settings Access:
In the event view, you will now find a color settings cog on the navigation bar for quick access.
This allows for easy customization of event colors while in the view.
4. Dynamic Resource (Tags) Names:
Resource (tags) names are no longer static in size.
They adjust to accommodate the length of the first name and last initial.
This ensures that there's no unnecessary empty space on events, even if the first name is exceptionally long.
5. Resource Name Format:
Resource names have been updated to use a single letter for the last name, enhancing space efficiency.
For example, "Bo J." instead of the full last name.
