We are excited to introduce the highly anticipated "Calendar" view, along with a host of new scheduling options designed to improve your planning and organization. This update includes a seamless toggle between "Schedule" and "Calendar" views, support for various event types, enhanced filtering options, and much more. Let's explore the key highlights:
New Features and Enhancements:
Introducing "Calendar" View: A new "Calendar" view complements the existing "Schedule" views, providing a convenient option to manage tasks and schedules for small teams.
Easy Navigation: A toggle button allows effortless switching between "Schedule" and "Calendar" views, which are now 3rd level navigation items on the page.
Filter Bar Enhancement: The "People" and "Assets" tabs move to the filter bar on the far left, enhancing accessibility and usability.
Sticky View Selection: The selected view remains sticky, ensuring your preference is preserved across sessions. Each view has a hard linkable URL for easy sharing and access.
Enhanced Calendar Layout: The "Month" version of the "Calendar View" features rows of dates that scroll vertically with the mouse, along with week numbers for better context.
Auto-sized Dates: Calendar dates adjust dynamically based on the number of bars on a given day, optimizing space utilization.
Comprehensive Event Support: New "Crew Events" and "Work Order Events" are introduced, creating bars on the calendar when employees or users are assigned to jobs or work orders.
Customizable Calendar Bars: Configure which fields appear in calendar bars per supported event type, providing personalized views based on specific requirements.
Streamlined Crew Management: Employees can be assigned to job crews without specific assignments, enhancing crew scheduling.
Intuitive Event Interaction: Clicking an event opens a slider on the right-hand side with job details, controls for adding associations or splitting events.
Efficient Event Selection: Shift-clicking allows you to select multiple events, which can be distinguished with borders.
Job Bar Formatting: Job bars on the calendar display in left-to-right order unless they overlap or multiple jobs occur on the same day, where they stack.
Improved Filtering: New filters allow targeting specific events on the calendar, based on employee, client, region, job number, job owner, and location.
Personalized Settings: Users can set and save their preferred date range, filters, and view type (day, month, year) as part of their user settings.
Holiday and Weekend Bill Rates
In response to customer desire for additional bill rates, we are thrilled to introduce an exciting enhancement to our platform. The Bill Rate tables now includes two new bill rate types: "Holiday" and "Weekend." These additions empower you to capture and manage billing rates more comprehensively, ensuring accurate and flexible billing for your services.
Asset Profile in Forms
For customers desiring to move more of their asset inspection data directly to the asset profile, in the release we have added additional capabilities to our already powerful forms tool. Forms have a toggle that when activated brings the asset profile data points into the form
