0:00 Hello, this is Harrison and today we're going to be walking through the exchanges tab within the settings of the merchant dashboard in redo So the first thing that we can do is we can choose What the customer has the option to do as far as an exchange if they want if you want to be able to have?

0:17 The customer exchange for any product product totally in the exchange Value or less or just the variant of the same product You can exclude product tags from the redo catalog that we portray And you could do that here.

0:32 You can also set a minimum inventory of what you want to keep in stock for the out-of-stock policies apply There are over here.

0:41 Um, we have set that five you can adjust this to whatever value you would like Um, you can select How we do we reuse the order number?

0:55 So adding a suffix here of exe you can change that to add a prefix just add a suffix and you can change that to whatever you'd like there.

1:04 Out of stock policies, you have the option to select store credit or refund when the redo system will detect if the policies are, or excuse me, if inventory is at the minimum value or if it is out of stock.

1:21 be changed to store credit or to refund. At events, stock is the option of whether the exchange order will be canceled, and this is the first one, whether the exchange order will be canceled and store credit will be issued for that whole order.

1:39 So if one item is out of stock, that means the whole, all the other items will get store credit for that, or if just the item that is out of stock will get store credit and then the rest of the items in the order will be in the exchange order for that one.

1:57 You can select to recreate expired discount codes, these are one time use codes or expired discount codes from an original order that are trying to be applied to an exchange order and they don't carry forward selecting this on will allow redo to recreate those discount codes with a dash return at the

2:16 end so that there are the discount codes are carried forward from the order itself to the exchange uhm over here we have the option to toggle on and off instant exchanges if it's toggled on you'll select the instant exchange hold amount and instant exchange hold amount is a refundable deposit that the

2:37 customer will have to basically place down in the event that they don't return it then Redo will charge the cost of the item that they're exchanging for uhm and they'll have to pay that full amount and then Redo will refund or issue that money to the merchant to you.

2:55 You can set the expiration window, you can do as little as you want as you want or as high as you want here.

3:03 Leftover exchange value, meaning if there is a exchange for the original order is for a high item value and then an exchange is for a lower item value, what is Redo going to do with that difference there?

3:16 Is it, are we going to exchange or create a store credit? Or create a refund based on that? You can turn on different priced variant exchanges where if the variants have different prices and you want to honor those prices, turning this toggle on will allow Redo to honor those price differences for the

3:35 variants. Exchange groups are simply items that you want to honor as the same value. So if I exchange the light blue dress with some tailored pants which are more expensive.

3:49 If I want the customer to have the same value across the board for that exchange. This is where you create an exchange group.

3:56 So the dress and the tailored pants will be equal values even though in your shopping cart if I store there or not.

4:02 Again, this is the exchanges tab within the settings of the merchant dashboard in Regan.
