0:01 Hey, this is Max, and this video is to go over the return portal. It can be found under settings, and it's down here at the very bottom, return portal. As you can see over here on the left, we have a good preview of what the return portal will look like. This is what customers will see when they want to start a return. They'll be directed to this portal. It is fully customizable, and we want you to be able to brand it to match your company.

0:31 Over here on the right, you can see you can upload a logo right here that populates up on the top. We found that a .png or a .jpeg are the best file types to make this work seamlessly. You're also able to update the background that's just populating back here behind the portal. Then you also have the option to change some of the colors.

0:52 Your primary color will change this big button. The accent color is the little return policy wording down here at the bottom. The accent background color is actually seen later on once a customer starts their exchange return. And then the back to store text color is up here in the upper left-hand corner.

1:10 Just some pro tips here. It is important that your accent color and your accent background color are different. Most merchants will use a light gray for the accent background color. It tends to look best. And if you are using a background, we want to make sure that this "back to store" text that's up here in the upper left-hand corner is visible with your background in place.

1:32 You can also toggle over here to content. Here we'll be able to copy and paste your return policy link. That's simply the link you have on your website that takes a customer to your return policy. And that populates underneath this clickable button, return policy. Next, we have an alert message. The most common message is "if you have any questions, please contact us at" and then add the customer support email, and you can see that that's populated right here at the bottom of the return portal. Lastly, what you want to do up here at the top, we have the URL.

2:06 This link is what your customers will click in order to start the return process. We recommend that this link is visible somewhere on your website, whether that's in the return policy, in the footer, in a header. It just needs to be easily accessible by your customers so that they can easily start a return if needed.
