Package pickup is a feature of Redo’s best-in-class returns platform that makes returning items a breeze. Customers can choose to drop-off packages at a convenient drop-off location, or have their packages collected from wherever they choose. Customers can select the option for package pickup during the returns process and are charged a nominal fee of $6-10 either deducted from their return credit or a credit card - depending on merchant settings. Customers can easily rescheduling or cancel their package pickup entirely.

  • Can pickups be canceled? Yes, customers, merchants or redo can cancel package pickup. Once canceled, redo begins processing the refund if paid via credit card or store credit.

  • Can a missed pickup by the customer be rescheduled? Yes!, simply reschedule as usual.

  • The carrier missed their pickup!, What do I do? Oh no! that shouldn’t happen. Check with the customer that the label is placed on the package, if the carrier didn’t come by, the customer can reschedule for the next convenient day. Please alert redo support at support@getredo.com about the missed pickup so we can address directly with the carrier.

  • The customer dropped off the package, but paid for pickup, can they still get a refund? If the customer did not cancel their package pickup prior to dropping off the package, we cannot issue a refund.

  • Can merchants pay for a package pickup on behalf of a customer? Absolutely, simply click the (re) schedule pickup button on the return page and select ‘Charge Merchant,’ then reschedule the pickup.

  • Can you show my support team how to manage pickup issues? Redo is primed to be the front-line of support, but we are happy to fully enable your support team on addressing package pickup issues in the event a customer reaches out to you directly. Just reach out to support@getredo.com and we can schedule an enablement session

  • Can merchants choose NOT to offer package pickup? Package pickup is a ‘built-in feature’ of redo’s return platform and will require code changes to remove. Redo can work with you to customize aspects of package pickup, which may be easier than turning off package pickup. Contact your support team for more information.
