Using stories widget

1. Open the ReelUp Dashboard

Log in to your store and launch the ReelUp app.

From the left-side panel, click on “Widgets.”

2. Click “Create Widget”.

Click the “Create Widget” button to start the process.

3. Select “Instagram Story Highlights” Widget.

Choose “Instagram Story Highlights” from the widget options, then click “Select Widget.”

📸 Add Reels to Your Story

4. Click the “Add Story” Button.

Start building your story highlight by clicking “Add Story.”

5. Select Reels

On the reel selection screen:

Check the boxes on the left side of each reel you want to include.

After selection, click the “Next” button.


6. Name Your Story

Give your Story Highlight a title that represents its content (e.g., “How It Works”, “Best Sellers”, “Behind the Scenes”).

7. Add a Cover Image

You’ll get two options for your story cover:

Static Image: Upload a custom image.

Automatic: A cover will be generated from your reels.

Choose the option that suits your branding best.

🎨 Customize Widget Design

8. Widget Design Preferences (Left Panel)
In the “Widget Design” tab:

Choose Display Shape:

Circle

Square

Select the Video Player Type you want for your highlights.

🌍 Set Display Rules

9. Go to “Display Rules” (Left Panel)
Decide where in your store the Story Highlights should appear.
You have several options:


Homepage

Cart Page

Blog Page

Specific Page (enter the URL of your landing page)

Collection Page

Specific Collection Pages

All Collection Pages

Product Page

Specific Products

All Products from Specific Collections

All Products

10. Shopify Market Targeting (Optional)

You can control where the widget appears based on Shopify markets:

Specific Markets (select the relevant market(s) from the dropdown)

Final Step

11. Save and Publish.

Once all your design settings and display rules are in place, click the “Save and Publish” button at the top-right corner of the screen.
