Watch the game seconds after it ends, with Instant Playback

Whether you missed the second-half goal because you stepped away, or you want to see the play your kid keeps talking about on the ride home, instant playback is on the same link you used to watch live.

Written by Team Reeplayer

Instant playback is included with Reeplayer Pro.

How it works

If a game is livestreamed on Reeplayer, the stream itself becomes the replay the moment the game ends. You'll see instant playback show up on the game page typically within 30 seconds.

No download. No "processing" screen. Open the game link, hit play.

The replay shows up in two stages

The same game link gets sharper over time.

Stage 1: Instant playback (right after the game ends).

The replay plays back from the livestream itself, so the picture quality is a little lower than the camera's full resolution. This is the version you watch right after the final whistle, on the sideline, in the car, or at the team dinner.

Stage 2: Full HD recording (after the camera uploads).

Once the camera owner gets the camera onto Wi-Fi and syncs the recording to the cloud, the game is swapped automatically for the full HD version. Same link, sharper picture, slow-mo ready. You don't need to do anything, the page just updates.

The upload timing depends on when the camera owner can sync the camera, so the HD version can land anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours after the game.

What you need

  • A Reeplayer Pro subscription on the account watching the replay

  • A game that was livestreamed on Reeplayer

If the game wasn't livestreamed, instant playback isn't available, and you'll get the full HD version once the camera owner syncs.

What else comes with Reeplayer Pro

Instant playback is one of several reasons fans, players, and families upgrade to Pro. Others include:

  • AirPlay/Chromecast capabilities

  • Zoom

  • Private notes

  • Background play

And more!
