Logging in with a phone number outside +1

If your phone number uses a country code outside +1, you can’t log in with SMS and must use a verified email address instead.

Written by Team Reeplayer

Phone numbers with country code +1 aren’t affected. The +1 country code is part of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), which includes the United States (and its territories), Canada, and several Caribbean and nearby nations. If your phone number uses +1, you can continue logging in with your phone number.

If you're already logged in

When you open the app, you may see a prompt asking you to verify your email.

  • You can dismiss the prompt twice.

  • On the third prompt, you’ll need to complete verification before continuing.

  • If you already have an email on file, you can change it before verifying.

  • If you don’t have an email on file, you’ll be asked to add one.

If you dismiss the prompt, it will appear again the next time you open the app until your email is verified.

Once your email is verified, you’re all set. After that, you’ll log in with your email instead of your phone number.

If you've been logged out

  1. Open the app and tap Log in.

  2. Enter your phone number.

  3. If you’re an existing customer without a verified email, you’ll receive an SMS and be logged in first so you can verify your email. After that, future logins will use your email instead of your phone number.

  4. Otherwise, instead of receiving an SMS, you’ll be taken to an email verification screen.

  5. If you don’t already have an email on file, you’ll be asked to add one first.

  6. Enter the code sent to your email.

  7. You’re in.

Use an email address you can access.

Can I change my email later?

Not right now. Once an email has been verified, it can’t currently be changed in the app. If you need help, contact support.

I can't remember which email I used

If you’re not sure which email is linked to your account, or you no longer have access to it, contact us at support@reeplayer.com and we’ll help you sort it out.
