Nope. You can stream a single event without one.

But if you film the same crew more than once, a team is worth the extra minute: family can follow it, followers get a notification the moment you go live, and every event you publish lands in one place they already know. No more digging through the group chat for last week's link.

To publish an event, tap Publish on the event page and choose your profile or a team.

Heads up: only a team's admin can post events to the team page, so whoever sets up the team holds the keys.
