Your team's fan page: where family and fans watch online

What your team's fan page is, how to share the link so family can watch live or rewatch later, and why watching is always free.

Written by Team Reeplayer

Every team on Reeplayer gets its own fan page: a branded page on the web where family, friends and supporters watch your games. We build the page for you, so there is nothing to set up and nothing extra to pay for. It is free to share and free to watch.

What the fan page is for

Think of it as your team's own channel. Anyone with the link can:

  • Watch a game live while it is being played

  • Rewatch past games afterwards

  • Clip their favorite moments

  • Download full games

How people get to it

You share the fan page with a link, and you can send it out ahead of a game or on the spot. When your camera goes live you choose the fan page and give the stream a title, and within seconds the game appears on the page for anyone with the link to watch.

On a computer the link opens right in the browser, no account needed. On a phone, tapping the link prompts downloading the Reeplayer app for the best viewing experience.

Does anyone have to pay to watch?

No. It is free to share and free to watch, and nobody needs a subscription to open your fan page.

Livestreaming itself is free too. It has been free for over a year, and we intend to keep it that way. The connectivity behind it, streaming reliably across cellular networks in most countries around the world, is genuinely costly, and we cover it because connecting families is the whole point of Reeplayer. The best thing you can do is keep streaming and invite everyone to tune in.

If someone wants the game on a TV, Reeplayer Pro lets them cast from the app with AirPlay or Chromecast.

How the fan page fits with the app

The app is still the most popular way to follow a team. Search for the team, follow the team profile, and you get notified the moment they go live or upload a new game. The fan page is the link you send to everyone who would rather watch on a computer, and it is the page every livestream plays on.

If a fan page link will not open for someone, or a game is missing from the page, email support@reeplayer.com with the link and the game date and we will check it from our side.
